MPC Affiliated Organizations

What is a Make Portuguese Count™ Affiliated Organization?

​

Any civic, social, faith-based or academic Portuguese group that commits to joining the campaign to work with PALCUS in promoting Make Portuguese Count™ in the 2020 Census is welcomed to be part of this important initiative.

​

The requirements are simple:

  1. Be an established civic, social, academic and/or faith-based organization serving the Portuguese-American community in the United States;

  2. Agree to adhere to the objectives and rules of the PALCUS Make Portuguese Count™ campaign for the 2020 Census by agreeing to the Guidelines and registering with us (see below);

  3. Commit to advancing the participation of the Portuguese-American community in the 2020 U.S. Census through the Portuguese-American Leadership Council of the United States.

Why do we ask your organization to register?

  1. To ensure that we have permission to work with your organization and your membership;

  2. To help us plan for informational sessions in your area;

  3. To help us plan for printed and other informational materials for your group.
