“We have much to do to make sure we're maintaining this special Portuguese-American relationship – and not only maintaining it, but growing it. PALCUS is playing a key role in this area – so, thank you very much for what you are doing.” - Senator Jack Reed

“That’s what PALCUS is really all about: highlighting the importance of the Portuguese communities and extending our reach so that we can better advocate on the issues that are important to Portuguese communities, which are important to all Americans. The contributions that PALCUS has made in bringing us together, in my role as a member of the Portuguese caucus, is my honor and privilege. Working together, we will continue to grow.” - Congressman Jim Costa

National Database of Portuguese-American Public Officials

PALCUS maintains the most comprehensive database of Portuguese-American elected and appointed officials at all levels in the United States. Federal, state, county and  local office holders are listed in this valuable resource that helps to keep public officials connected with the Portuguese-American community.

If you are a public official (elected or appointed) of Portuguese heritage, we invite you to complete the simple questionnaire below to add your profile to the National Database. Your participation helps PALCUS to keep the database up-to-date and complete.

If you know of a Portuguese-American serving in a public office, please send us name, location and contact information in an email and we will follow up.
